**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian vegetarian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including food preparation stations, cooking equipment, and utensils.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Support the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in daily operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for enhancing our South Indian vegetarian offerings.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries of fresh produce, spices, and other ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of South Indian vegetarian cuisine
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working as Chef or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
