**Job Profile**: Procurement Associate

We are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Associate.So this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the procurement processes and would like to build a robust career in the procurement department.

**Roles and Responsibilities of a Procurement Associate**:

- Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with Inhabitr processes and strategies;
- Support procurement planning through collaboration with the project personnel and concerned stakeholders in the preparation of the procurement plan;
- Basic understanding of the procurement processes and procuring for the Safety Stock requirements across all the regions where we have our warehouses/ facilities;
- Prepare the respective purchase orders for placing the orders with the vendors and also updating the same in the Inhabitr dashboards;
- Work closely with the respective project teams to understand details of the specific procurement requirements;
- Maintain the various trackers built in order to include all the information pertaining to the orders, viz. order type, vendor, order mode, order status, etc.
- Maintain a vendor database and ensure effective use of the Inhabitr systems to record the listing, pricing, updating, and monitoring order processes of the vendors in order to disseminate information on a regular basis;
- Assisting in booking and scheduling the shipments to provide logístical support to the team:

- Perform other duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant field. Master’s degree will be an added advantage;
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in procurement administration and/or management, supply chain either in the national or international level in dealing with procurement practices and market analysis;
- Professional certification in the field of procurement will be a distinct advantage;
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools like MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, etc.
- Critical thinker who can use the knowledge and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions, and approaches to the problems;
- You are a self-starter and highly motivated individual;
- You are analytical and strategic while being able to execute the defined processes;
- Fluency in both written and oral English is essential in order to communicate with the concerned stakeholders in the US and other international market

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
