**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian rice dishes like biryani, pulao, lemon rice, coconut rice, and other rice-based meals, along with dosas, idlis, sambhar, vadas, curries, and more.
- Plan, organize, and execute the daily menu, ensuring it offers a balanced selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and canteen areas.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during lunch hours.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and mínimal wastage.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure the safe use of kitchen equipment.
- Communicate with management regarding daily menu planning and any special dietary needs or preferences.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a South Indian Cook or in a similar role in the food industry, with strong knowledge of South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.
- Expertise in preparing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian rice dishes (biryani, pulao, etc.) and traditional South Indian meals.
- Ability to cook for a large group while ensuring quality and consistency.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a corporate or canteen environment.
