**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in user research activities to gather requirements. This includes interviews, ethnographic observation, workflow analyses and contextual inquiry- Assist research team to create personas based on research- Maintain familiarity with other company products and competitive products to ensure compatibility with proposed feature sets- Propose and design product-wide patterns to ensure consistency of experience- Transfer understanding of user needs and workflows to propose enhancements to company products- Design and evaluate alternative solutions to choose the best approach- Visualize and prototype an intended solution. Validate designs with customers and internal stakeholders- Assist in the coordination and facilitation of usability tests and other target user research- Compose highly detailed design assets/prototypes to support the implementation of design proposals- Deliver design documentation for use by a wide range of audiences including Software Development, Test Development, Technical Publications, Sales and Marketing-
- May lead efforts to define XD strategy- Leads efforts to work collaboratively across teams and orgs to ensure cohesive workflows.- Works with BG/WG leads to ensure customer experience is one of the three core considerations in product planning (Viability, Desirability, Feasibility)- Works with senior Staff to escalate issues and seek decisions, as appropriate- Lead presentations and discussions with users, developers, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution on proposed features and functionality- Lead the effort to ensure the development team has a clear vision of the desired experience- Negotiate on scope with PM and Dev counterparts- You are an effective communicator. You possess strong verbal, written and visual communication and presentation skills. You are able to set and communicate clear expectations and deliver on them in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones and a diverse workforce- You have strong problem solving and design skills. You enjoy solving complex problems in creative ways. You are tolerant of range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation and drive them from concept to conclusion- Experience with Information Architecture, customer research methods, including interviewing, contextual inquiry, usability testing, etc
Minimum Qualifications- 8+ years relevant commercial experience- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience- Current portfolio of commercial UX project work
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Platform projects, work experience with complex business systems and data models- Understanding/or backgroud of Product data management and product lifecycle management solutions- Demonstrate qualities like UX leadership, mentorship, stakeholder management
