Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer with over 5 years of proven expertise in creating intuitive, seamless, and delightful user experiences for our Commerce product. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-cantered design principles, extensive experience in UX research and analysis, and a passion for solving complex design challenges. As a Senior UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements and user needs into innovative design solutions that drive engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end UX design process, from concept ideation to final implementation, ensuring the highest level of quality and usability.
  • Conduct in-depth user research, including user interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, usability testing, etc to gain insights into user behaviour, needs, and pain points.
  • Analyse research findings and translate them into actionable design recommendations and strategies.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize design initiatives.
  • Champion UX best practices and design standards across the organization, fostering a culture of user-centricity and innovation.
  • Ability to work on building design system.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, technologies, and industry developments, and incorporate them into our design processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma is a must.
  • Have hands-on experience with auto layout and working with component libraries.
  • Having basic knowledge of design accessibility and guidelines.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies, including usability testing, persona development, competitive analysis and journey mapping.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design principles and information architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design challenges.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
  • Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) is a plus.
