Key Responsibilities:

- Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agricultural sector, particularly with farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and retailers.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling fertilizer products through direct field visits, demonstrations, and meetings.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to expand market presence and meet revenue goals.
- Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any queries related to product usage, benefits, and pricing.
- Regularly meet with farmers and distributors to understand their fertilizer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Ensure timely follow-up with potential leads and existing customers to increase sales conversions.
- Product Knowledge and Demonstration:

- Conduct field demonstrations and training sessions for farmers on the proper use of fertilizers to enhance crop productivity.
- Provide customers with technical support and advice on choosing the right fertilizers for their crops.
- Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products in the agricultural sector.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and market conditions.
- Sales Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities, campaigns, and events.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or fertilizer industry.
- Strong understanding of agriculture, fertilizers, and crop production processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work in rural areas.

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with the local agricultural market and farming communities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
