**Location**: Edify World School, Attapur

**Job Purpose**:
To create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters a deep understanding of Physics concepts while developing scientific skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver Physics lessons in alignment with the curriculum framework (CBSE/CAIE/IGCSE).
- Incorporate inquiry-based learning, hands-on experiments, and STEM activities into teaching.
- **Lesson Planning and Instruction**:

- Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and resources to enhance student understanding.
- Use technology (smartboards, simulations, and scientific software) to make lessons engaging and interactive.
- Promote critical thinking through problem-solving sessions, projects, and discussions.
- **Practical Learning and Lab Work**:

- Conduct laboratory experiments safely and effectively to supplement theoretical learning.
- Guide students in preparing lab reports, understanding experimental outcomes, and analyzing data.
- Ensure proper maintenance and organization of lab equipment and materials.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, and projects in line with curriculum standards.
- **Student Development**:

- Identify and address individual learning needs through remedial and enrichment sessions.
- Mentor students in preparing for internal and external Physics competitions, Olympiads, and exams.
- Foster a scientific temper and a passion for Physics through thought-provoking discussions and activities.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**:

- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects, events, and activities.
- Stay updated with advancements in Physics and pedagogical techniques.
- **Parental Engagement**:

- Provide timely updates to parents on student progress and learning goals.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss individual academic performance and areas for improvement.
- **School Activities**:

- Participate in school events, science fairs, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Encourage students to engage in extracurricular opportunities related to science and Physics.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- B.Ed. (preferred) or relevant teaching certification.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and principles.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using technology, simulations, and digital tools for teaching Physics.
- Ability to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- **Experience**:

- 2-5 years of experience teaching Physics in middle or high school.
- Experience with CBSE/CAIE/IGCSE curriculum is an added advantage.
