Looking for Qualified School Counsellor and Special Educator

**Required Qualification**:
**Key Roles and** **Responsibilities**:

- Identifying and counselling high-risk students exhibiting signs and symptoms of various conditions through therapeutic approaches.
- Directing further support through referral to community-based centers if/when necessary.
- Conducting of regular assessments. Collaborating with (Central Govt.) mental health organisations for formal psychological assessment of students when necessary.
- Providing special education and remedial education to students with learning disabilities and learning gap/difficulties respectively.
- Providing guidelines to remedial trainers with necessary inputs and concerned educators/families on handling students with various concerns.
- Communicating and collaborating with the team (students, family, teachers, coordinators and Principal).
- Develop and implement plans and programs**.**:

- Conducting sessions and presentations on various mental health related areas at the discretion of the Principal.

**Additional Skills and Responsibilities**:

- All necessary counselling skills Effective communication
- Basic computer knowledge
- Maintenance of case records with utmost confidentiality
- Protecting the dignity and integrity of the counselling department
- Good knowledge in English (and local languages also preferred)
- Editing and proof-reading skills preferred
- Contributing at various cultural programs and school activities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,280.27 - ₹30,000.00 per month
