**Job Description: Psychology Counsellor and Teacher**

**Position**: Psychology Counsellor and Teacher
**Location**: Emerald International School, Nelamangala, Bangalore.
**Accommodation**: On-campus accommodation with meals provided.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to address students’ emotional, social, and academic concerns.
- Develop and implement wellness programs and workshops for students to promote mental health awareness.
- Organize and lead after-school preparation or counselling sessions based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to address student challenges and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
- Actively participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Encourage students’ holistic development by promoting self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and positive mental health practices.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
- Certification in counselling or mental health support is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Psychology Teacher or School Counsellor, preferably in a residential school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with students.
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to students’ overall well-being.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos and willingness to actively participate in the residential school environment.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to stay on campus. The school provides food and accommodation to ensure a comfortable living environment.
- Flexibility to handle after-school preparation classes and other academic activities.

**Application process**:
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
