**About the Role**

We seek a dynamic and visionary professional to join Cheshire TechCorp as a Co-founder and Head of Embedded Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge hardware solutions and driving innovation within the company. The role is ideal for individuals with deep expertise in IoT, embedded systems, or related fields who are passionate about technological advancements and entrepreneurship.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the research, design, and development of advanced embedded systems and IoT devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions seamlessly.
- Oversee embedded systems' prototyping, testing, and deployment to meet product requirements.
- Establish and manage partnerships with hardware manufacturers and component suppliers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and innovative.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and long-term vision as a key member of the leadership team.

**Qualifications**
- PhD (or currently pursuing) in a relevant field or significant academic and industry experience (e.g., as a professor or senior professional).
- Demonstrated expertise in IoT or embedded systems.
- Proven track record in hardware development, including prototyping and deployment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building innovative solutions from the ground up.
