As a **Logistics Sales Executive**, you will play a crucial role in promoting transportation solutions to clients and prospects, ensuring their supply chain needs are met. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by selling logistics services and negotiating contracts on behalf of your company. You’ll be the vital point of contact between the organization and its clients, offering advice, addressing queries, and maximizing profits.
Location: Mumbai (Malad East)
**Salary**: Up to 7 LPA Max
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Proactively reach out to clients and prospects to build a portfolio of customers.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
- Promote logistics solutions to clients, addressing their supply chain needs.
- Research and seek out prospects through sales calls.
- Negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Stay informed about market freight rates to determine pricing for trucks and shippers.
- Oversee the movement of clients’ goods, ensuring timely pickup, transportation, and delivery.
- Manage rate negotiation with clients.
- Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient inventory control.
- Communicate with clients and prospects via phone calls and in-person visits.
- Provide up-to-date information on load tracking.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth logistics operations.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of experience as a logistics sales executive or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics products and services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
**Salary**: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
