Taking Orders: Accurately record customer food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted. Transmit orders to the kitchen or bar staff promptly.

Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver orders to customers' tables with attention to detail, ensuring the correct order is served to the appropriate guests. Use tray service and follow established service standards.

Knowledge of the Menu: Maintain a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, to answer customer questions accurately.

Upselling: Suggest additional items like appetizers, desserts, or beverages to increase sales, without being pushy or aggressive.

Payment Handling: Present bills, accept payments, and provide accurate change. Handle credit card and cash transactions securely and efficiently.

Clean and Set Tables: Reset tables for the next guests, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, replacing tableware, and ensuring a neat and welcoming dining environment.

Side Work: Complete side tasks such as refilling condiments, restocking service stations, and ensuring all service areas are organized and well-maintained.

Handling Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, involving a manager if necessary. Strive to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.

Knowledge of Alcoholic Beverages: If the restaurant serves alcohol, servers should be knowledgeable about the drink menu, responsible alcohol service, and be able to verify the legal drinking age of customers.

Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring that orders are accurate, food presentation is appealing, and customer needs are met.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, including grooming and uniform standards.

Teamwork: Work as part of a team, both with other servers and restaurant staff, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for customers.
