**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate **Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines** for precision machining.
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions**.
- Set up tools, machine parameters, and workpieces for **efficient machining operations**.
- Monitor **cutting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut** for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using **measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, etc.)** to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform **basic troubleshooting and maintenance** of the VTL machine.
- Maintain **proper documentation** of production output and machine usage.
- Follow **safety protocols** and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:
Experience in **VTL machine operation** (Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controls preferred).
Ability to **read and understand technical drawings and machining symbols**.
Knowledge of **cutting tools, inserts, and machine setup**.
Experience with **precision measuring instruments**.
**Basic troubleshooting** skills for machine errors.
Strong **attention to detail** and adherence to quality standards.
Ability to work **independently and in a team environment**.
