**Role Summary**:
We are seeking a Storage Administrator (NetApp) to proactively maintain storage infrastructure. The role also involves installing, patching, and maintaining all versions of NetApp storage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strong experience in NetApp storage and backup administration.
- Experience in installation, upgrades, and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with EMC (VNX, VMAX, Celera, Unity), NetApp series, and other IBM and HP products.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining NetApp infrastructure performance, hardware, and connectivity.
- Experience with Cisco and Brocade series FC switches.
- Experience in NetApp storage provisioning, LUN masking, and zoning.
- Experience in NetApp storage capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
- Understanding of NFS, CIFS, and Fiber Channel protocols, with experience in supporting and managing replication.
- Strong knowledge of all backup solutions and concepts, such as policy types, retentions, SLP, NetBackup process flow, and deduplication.
- Good knowledge of NetApp storage pools, RAID groups, LUN masking, and zoning.
- Experience in NetApp storage virtualization, deduplication, BCV, remote copy, synchronous and asynchronous replication, and data center fiber cables.
- Experience in setting up and administering NetApp storage units and devices, tape libraries, VTL, data domains, and basic disks.
- Understand product technology and prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and migration plans/strategies.
- Basic level of scripting knowledge.
- Should have good experience in OEM, customer coordination, and vendor management.
- Should have exposure to ITSM tools and a strong understanding of ITIL processes.

**Qualification**:

- Any UG/PG with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in NetApp Storage & Backup Administration.
- Good knowledge of multiple operating system environments like Windows, Linux and UNIX.
- Prior exposure to working in minimum 2 implementation cycle.
- Excellent communication skills.
