**Position Title**: Bartender
**Location**: New Town, Kolkata, WB
**Reports to**: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drink Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages as per the menu or customer requests.
- Ensure correct proportions and measurements of ingredients.
- Keep up to date with new and seasonal drinks.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers as they arrive and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Offer recommendations based on customers' preferences.
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- **Bar Maintenance**:

- Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glasses, cleaning countertops, and managing inventory.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols, especially concerning the handling of alcohol and glassware.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Process payments through cash, card, or mobile transactions.
- Manage the till accurately, including balancing cash registers at the end of the shift.
- Issue receipts and change, as necessary.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Monitor stock levels and communicate with management about reordering supplies.
- Assist in inventory control and regular stock checks.
- Ensure all supplies are stored properly and comply with health regulations.
- **Compliance**:

- Adhere to legal guidelines and health and safety regulations, especially in relation to alcohol serving.
- Verify age requirements by checking customer IDs.
- Be aware of and enforce company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and consumption.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Assist in promoting events and specials, and encourage customer participation.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a bartender or similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of drinks, alcohol, cocktails, and wine.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Certification or training in mixology is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age in the region of employment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 18000 lbs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
