A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers at a bar, restaurant, or event. They provide excellent customer service, ensure the bar area is well-stocked and clean, and promote a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons. Bartenders are skilled in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes and customer preferences, while following all safety and legal regulations related to alcohol consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Drink Preparation and Service**:

- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks to customers based on their orders, following standardized recipes.
- Ensure accurate and timely service of beverages to customers.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with drink choices.
- Recommend and up-sell specialty cocktails, promotions, and products.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for all guests.
- Engage with customers, take drink orders, and create a memorable experience.
- Address customer concerns and handle complaints in a professional manner.
- Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
- **Bar Maintenance**:

- Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, glasses, and utensils.
- Replenish stock, including liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Ensure bar supplies are well-stocked, and notify the manager of inventory needs.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Accurately handle cash, process credit card transactions, and manage tabs for customers.
- Ensure proper billing and provide correct change.
- Track and record drink sales accurately.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Follow legal and regulatory guidelines for alcohol service, including monitoring intoxicated patrons.
- Promote a safe drinking environment and prevent over-serving.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with training new bartenders and staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure optimal service.
- **Event and Special Occasions**:

- Set up and break down bar areas for special events, parties, or functions.
- Serve guests and manage drink service during events.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Experience**: Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bartending tools, and alcohol types.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- **Certifications**: Bartending license or other certifications (e.g., Responsible Beverage Service training) may be required, depending on local laws.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items, and work in a busy, often loud environment.

Work Environment:

- Work in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- May require late nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.
- Fast-paced, high-energy work environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
