**Job Description - Corporate Lawyer**

**Position**: Corporate Lawyer

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide legal support and guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws, statutory requirements, and government regulations.
- Advise management on legal risks and strategies to mitigate them.
- Handle corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and company secretarial compliances.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations when required.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal insights and solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices affecting the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; Master’s degree (LLM) in Corporate/Business Law is an advantage.
- Minimum **3-7 years** of proven experience as a corporate lawyer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in handling corporate litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of intellectual property rights, data protection, and employment law.
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and international contracts.
