Job Summary:-

BL Foundation is a non - profit organization currently offering law internship. A lawyer is a legal professional responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in legal matters, and ensuring compliance with the law. They may work in various areas of law, including but not limited to criminal law, civil law, corporate law, family law, intellectual property law, and environmental law.

Responsibilities:-

  1. Legal Consultation:-Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, individuals, or organizations on a wide range of legal issues.

  2. Research:-Conduct legal research to understand relevant laws, regulations, and precedents that apply to specific cases or situations.

  3. Document Preparation:-Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, wills, pleadings, and other legal instruments.

  4. Client Representation:-Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, settlements, and court proceedings. This may include arguing cases in front of judges and juries.

  5. Case Management:-Manage and oversee the progress of legal cases, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.

  6. Legal Analysis:-Analyze complex legal issues, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  7. Compliance:-Ensure that clients are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and advise on legal strategies to minimize legal risks.

For more information:

  1. Advocacy:- Advocate for clients' interests and rights, both in and out of the courtroom.

  2. Conflict Resolution:-Mediate disputes and negotiate settlements between parties to avoid litigation when possible.

  3. Client Communication:-Maintain open and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and providing updates on legal developments.

  4. Continuing Education:-Stay updated on changes in the law and legal precedents by participating in ongoing legal education and professional development.

  5. Ethical Standards:-Uphold the highest ethical standards in all legal activities, maintaining client confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.

Qualifications:

 Pursuing or Pass out LLB students from an accredited law school.

 Strong knowledge of applicable laws and legal procedures.

 Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

 Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

 Ethical and professional conduct.
