**Key Responsibilities**:
**Meal Preparation**: Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring nutritional value and taste.
**Dietary Compliance**: Collaborate with dietitians to accommodate special dietary needs, including low-sodium, diabetic, and allergen-free meals.
**Kitchen Hygiene**: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
**Inventory Management**: Monitor food supplies and assist in inventory control, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
**Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen staff and hospital personnel to ensure timely meal service.
**Record Keeping**: Maintain records of food temperatures, cleaning schedules, and inventory logs as required.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in Culinary Arts or Food Service Management is a plus.
**Experience**: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or institutional setting.
**Skills**: Knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.

**Time Management**: Efficient in managing cooking schedules to meet meal service times.

**Work Environment**:
**Schedule**: Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
**Physical Demands**: Standing for extended periods, lifting heavy pots and pans, and working in a fast-paced environment
