**Responsibilities, role, task & duties of position**
- ∙ AOP and budget planning responsibility for equipment maintenance function across the site and this includes repair and maintenance, labour, utilities, and capital improvement plans.
- ∙ Responsible for plant Start-up, Ramp up and transition to High Volume Manufacturing and sustaining
- ∙ Develop plans for the implementation of new technology including the implementation of capital plans and workforce readiness assessment.
- ∙ Drive collaboration with inter-plant maintenance and global team to ensure all facilities are aligned in term of system, procedures and process.
- ∙ Manage a team of equipment maintenance personnel to maintain the plant’s equipment performance to maximize productivity.
- ∙ Manage standards such as safety, equipment availability, yield, throughput to meet or exceed Key Performance Index matrix by utilizing process tools and knowledge of system capability to set and achieve performance standards.
- ∙ Focus to drive equipment maintenance team to sustain the manufacturing line according to Plan of Records and execute engineering projects to further improve tool availability.
- ∙ Responsible for the development of maintenance team to ensure team is equipped with the latest know-hows to troubleshoot and repair equipment and identifying key training program to be attended, expose them to appropriate forum such as Kaizen and create succession planning within the respective organization
- ∙ Preparation, Implementations & Monitoring of Equipment/Maintenance Standards, Procedures& check sheets.
- ∙ Troubleshooting of Electrical/Electronic logic circuitry of continuous process machinery control panels.
- ∙ Ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost within High Value Manufacturing environments.
- ∙ Ensure Plant Utility Planning, implementations and perform within Standards
- ∙ Maintenance & Operation of Plant utilities like D.G. set, Solar, Air compressor, Industrial lifts, Air conditioners, electric panels etc.
- ∙ Ensure Plant Equipment Efficiency at set targets and track, analyse the MTTR, MTBF & PM compliance.
- ∙ Ensure Plant Breakdown with Low MTTR and zero Safety concerns/Zero accident.
- ∙ Drive the Total Productive Maintenance activities &implementation of TPM. (Focus on PM, JH & E&T)
- ∙ Facilitation for implementation of QS 9000, ISO 14001, EHS & OHSAS activities.
- ∙ Achieving of zero non-conformance from government agencies.
- ∙ Implementation of Energy management system.
- ∙ Skilled in monitoring Operations & Maintenance procedures to increase the efficiency and ensuring adherence to quality standards through in-process checks.
- ∙ Ensure trouble shooting complex B/D in Robots, Electrical Control Panels ,Cobots& other PLC.
- ∙ Supplier management activities involving resource planning, in-process inspection, team building and co-ordination with internal / external departments.
- ∙ Ensure Team Skill Development and Mapping for Future Projects.
- ∙ Achieving production uptime as per target. Facilitation for achieving the same.
- ∙ Maintenance Cost Monitoring & Control.

**Technical Skills**
- ∙ Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and Laser operations.
- ∙ Expertise in CNC & SPM operating/Handling/Maintenance of M/C & systems.
- ∙ (including Hardware & Software knowledge)
- ∙ Strong knowledge of electrical parts & Its repairing and electrical safety.
- ∙ Siemens PLC, Mitsubishi PLC, Allen Bradley PLC
- ∙ Knowledge of required building codes & electrical/Mechanical ISO standards.
- ∙ Proven knowledge of Manufacturing processes and equipment.
- ∙ Excellent knowledge in equipment maintenance and spare part scheduling systems (CMMS).
- ∙ Knowledge of MAXIMO& SAP PM module is a preferable.
- ∙ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage employee relations.
- ∙ Should Have Good Knowledge about PLC Programming and Ladder Programme
- ∙ Weekly & monthly PDCA. Focus on standardization.
- ∙ Do Low Cost Automation with Inhouse resource Management.

**Experience, skills & knowledge**
- ∙ Should have worked in Large Manufacturing environment or Auto OEMs, with exposure to at least 2 to 3 product launches.
- ∙ Good team player, team leader and should be firm in stating the view with Customer at the centre focus always.
- ∙ Should be the face of the plant working with Maintenance Operation
- ∙ Well versed in understanding of Equipment Drawings. Designing Interface Solving Capabilities
- ∙ Knowledge of Related software (Auto Cad, CMMS etc). Control System & Software Understanding.
