Maintenance Supervisor/ Incharge

**Position Title**:
**Department**: Maintenance**Reports To**: Operations Manager/Plant Manager

**Objective**

The Maintenance Supervisor/Incharge oversees the maintenance team's daily operations, ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities function efficiently. They implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to minimize downtime, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities1. Maintenance Management**
- Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and standard operating protocols.
- Coordinate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.

**2. Team Supervision**
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and workers.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to enhance technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

**3. Troubleshooting and Repairs**
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Evaluate the root causes of mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs when needed.

**4. Inventory and Documentation**
- Manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Generate periodic reports on maintenance performance and operational efficiency.

**5. Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Develop and enforce safe work practices for the maintenance team.

**6. Cost Management**
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate with vendors for spare parts and services.

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Certifications (Optional)**: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, PLCs, Electrical Maintenance).

**Work Conditions**
- May require on-call availability for emergencies.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and machinery hazards.
- Full-time position, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- On-site role with regular security patrols and interactions with hospital staff and visitors.

Pay: ₹45,000.72 - ₹50,000.39 per month
