**International Admissions Officer - Australian Higher Education Institution**

**Job duties and respsonsibilities**:
1. International Student Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit a diverse pool of international students to the institution. This may involve collaborating with marketing teams, attending international education fairs, conducting recruitment trips, and establishing partnerships with international agencies.

2. Admissions Requirements and Policies: Stay updated on the specific admissions requirements and policies for international students set by the institution and regulatory bodies, such as the Department of Home Affairs in Australia. Ensure compliance with visa regulations, English language proficiency requirements, and academic prerequisites.

5. Cultural Sensitivity and Support: Understand the unique needs and challenges faced by international students. Offer support and resources to help them transition to the Australian educational system and adapt to a new cultural environment.

6. International Credential Evaluation: Assess international academic qualifications and credentials, ensuring they are equivalent to Australian educational standards. Collaborate with relevant authorities or credential evaluation services to determine the authenticity and validity of international qualifications.

7. Cross-Cultural Communication: Communicate effectively with international students, both verbally and in writing, considering language barriers and cultural differences. Provide clear and concise information about the admissions process, program offerings, fees, and other relevant details.

8. International Partnerships: Collaborate with international educational institutions, agencies, and government bodies to establish partnerships and articulation agreements. Facilitate the transfer of credits and streamline the admissions process for students coming from partner institutions.

10. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about international education trends, market demands, and best practices in international student recruitment and admissions. Suggest and implement improvements to the admissions process to enhance the experience of international students.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree qualification equivalent or higher preferred but not Mandatory
Two Years Plus Experience Preferred but not Mandatory
Computer Skills and Digital Skills
Communication Skills (Oral & Written)

Time Management Skills
High Attention to Detail
