Pay: 18,000 to 22,000/ month

Position Overview:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process by providing accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities. The role involves counselling, lead management, converting enquiries into admissions, and ensuring a smooth enrollment experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students on course options, eligibility, and program benefits.
  • Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person, online, or telephonic).
  • Handle enquiries received through calls, emails, walk-ins, and digital platforms.
  • Maintain and update leads in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups until closure.
  • Explain admission procedures, documentation requirements, fees, and scholarship details.
  • Assist students with application forms and documentation submission.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/conversion targets.
  • Conduct information sessions, webinars, and campus tours.
  • Maintain professional communication and provide accurate information to prospective students.
  • Stay updated on academic programs, new courses, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on enquiries and conversions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, academics, and administration).
  • Provide post-admission support and address student/parent queries.
  • Build positive relationships with prospective and enrolled students.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education, counselling, or marketing preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good convincing and counselling abilities.
  • Experience in education counselling or sales (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Ability to handle targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
