To prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring quality, taste, and adherence to health and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare ingredients like vegetables, meats, and spices.
- Marinate meats and vegetables as required.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- **Cooking**:

- Cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori specialties, and vegetarian options.
- Ensure dishes are cooked to perfection, maintaining consistent flavor profiles.
- Adjust recipes and cooking methods to suit local preferences and dietary restrictions.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Place orders for necessary items to avoid shortages.
- **Teamwork**:

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members.
- **Customer Service**:

- Interact with customers to take food orders and address any concerns.
- Present dishes in an appealing manner.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Indian cook in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong culinary skills, with a deep understanding of Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, including grilling, roasting, and deep-frying.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
