**We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with 5+ years of experience to join Upland India as a Product Owner** with the **Waterfall** team**. **The individual will assist-with with the design, development, and management of product plans and to manage execution.

To be a part of this journey, **you should have an overall industry experience of 3 - 5 years of experience** as a Business Analyst / Product Owner delivering technology enabled solutions. **Prior experience in the mobile space will be an advantage.**

**What would you do?**:

- Identify and manage existing and emerging risks from business activities and job role
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Facilitate the analysis and design of technology solutions supporting delivery functions to ensure business needs are met
- Drive the gathering of requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, business process analysis, use cases scenarios, task inquiry and workflow analyses
- Participate in analysis and verification of requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformance to standards
- Translate requirements from Product Managers into epics and stories for the team with clear criteria around acceptance and behavior
- Facilitate traceability of approved and base lined artifacts throughout the solution development life cycle to include specifications, design, development, testing, implementation, and defect prioritization
- Assist quality assurance leads with the planning and review of test artifacts
- Collaborate with other Product team members across Upland and adopt / contribute to best practices on product development
- Facilitate clarification and active participation in defect management activities to confirm requirements and SLAs are being met
- Manages change control activities for affected system artifacts

- Experience in practical AGILE and SCRUM with demonstrated ability in delivering incremental value to customers
- An excellent team player with a track record of building strong, cross-functional working relationships across departments and functions
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity in handling complex and ambiguous problems with a flair to break them down into manageable problems and come-up with creative solutions
- You love working with engineering teams and customers and like to deliver value
- Take ownership of the problem right from the start and take actions with proactive communication
- Experience working in a distributed team
