Die Tool Fitter

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and construct tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate CNC machines and other precision equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on tools and dies.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool designs.
- Ensure all tools and dies meet quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and dies.
- Maintain accurate records of tool and die maintenance and repairs.
- Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure tools and dies are functioning correctly.
- Work with various materials, including metals and plastics.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage inventory of tools, dies, and related materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tool and die technology.

**Requirement**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tool and Die Technician.
- Proficiency in CAD software and CNC machine operation.
- Strong understanding of metalworking and machining processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
