**Job Summary**
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience. This role acts as the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm hospitality, managing reservations, and handling guest requests efficiently and professionally.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel’s PMS (Property Management System).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, room rates, packages, promotions, and local attractions.
- Ensure accurate guest billing and payment transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely room readiness.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Prepare daily reports and handovers for upcoming shifts.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in hotel management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Pleasant personality with a guest-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
