Job Description for Lab Assistant (Vacancy 2)

Position: Lab Assistant

Company: Precious Alloys

Location: MIDC Andheri

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: Fresher /1 Year of Experience

Qualification: BSc / MSc in Chemistry

Job Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting laboratory tests according to established procedures.

Prepare chemical solutions and standards as per lab requirements.

Perform regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment and instruments (Auto titrator, XRF, ICP).

Record and analyze data from experiments and document results accurately.

Ensure the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.

Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Assist senior lab technicians in day-to-day lab operations.

Support in preparing samples for testing and analysis.

Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (BSc or MSc).

Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow them diligently.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:
Basic understanding of laboratory safety standards.

Familiarity with various chemical handling and storage procedures.

Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory instruments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,763.50 - ₹32,347.56 per month
