Junior Associate

**[ ABOUT THE ROLE ]**

Krafton has already deployed more than $100 Million in the last 15 months and have aggressive plans for investments and M&As in India and MENA regions. We are looking to add a self-motivated and energetic Junior Associate who will play an important role in the team in scaling our footprint. This is an extremely high impact role that will require the person to take initiative, and significant opportunities exist for career growth for an individual looking to put in the required hours.

**[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]**

End-to-end execution of new investments, from internal discussion stage to the negotiation and finalization of new documents (this would include valuation, term sheet finalization and overall management of the due diligence process as well, including interaction with Due Diligence consultants)

Deal documentation support: Help in assessment of companies as part of investment team. Deal flow documentation in internal systems including creating internal pitch decks and other documentation. Summarize call notes, enter deals into internal CRM work with Senior associate on the same.

Manage internal communication activities such as creating internal pitch decks, building alignment with internal stakeholders, and support business development or collaboration between investee companies and Krafton. Track performance of portfolio companies and keep Investment Team updated of progress.

Portfolio management ops: Be the interface operations wise between HQ and Portfolio companies in terms of all compliances Financial or legal. Maintaining a book of board resolutions for each portfolio company ensuring all decisions are properly recorded.

Development of Industry Expertise: Going through research reports, attending industry events and seminars, developing relationships with various stakeholders in the gaming ecosystem in India & MENA, and support the development of incoming new investments pipeline for the Corp Dev team.

[ REQUIREMENTS ]

2-3 years related work experience (e.g. corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, etc.).

High orientation to detail is critical for this role.

Ability to think on your feet and form a view without incomplete information is extremely important.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to create well-structured powerpoint presentations without significant oversight.

Preferred MBA or reputable university degree in finance, economics, business, or engineering major (incl. computer science).

Experience of working in a high impact role in a high growth startup is also valued in this role.

Should have passion about Games and Media & Entertainment industry.
