The Team Member HRBP - Regional Entertainment is both a strategic and hands-on role and is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management of Colors Kannada (Bengaluru) and Colors Tamil (Chennai). Reporting to the HR Lead - Entertainment GEC, this role is key in formulating partnerships in the Colors Kannada & Colors Tamil teams of the Viacom18 Entertainment business and across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, aligned to the growth needs of the channel.

The role works closely with HR CoEs to design and deliver customized interventions for the teams.

A key part of the role, besides executing on the people agenda, is to also act as a coach to guide the teams, in consultation with the Business HR Heads to navigate change and intended people outcomes, as per the HR strategies.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition
- Act as a coach and mentor to leadership to counsel change as needed
- Work with the HR leadership team to identify new HR strategies for the teams
- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance to key stakeholder
- Work closely with Colors Kannada & Colors Tamil teams to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention and resolve employee relations issues and address grievances
- Collaborate closely with COEs to ensure support on any business specific intervention that may be from time to time including studying HR trends and metrics for appropriate decision making and interventions, HR policy guidance and inputs to relevant COEs, learning identification and interventions, top talent management and succession planning and others

- Employee engagement and satisfaction
- Attrition, including of key talent
- Participation in and timely closure of key HR activities (PMS, Learning programs, Succession planning and top talent identification etc)
- Employee Cost

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- 6-8 years of work experience as an HR business partner
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics. Strong understanding of all HR functions and best practices. Thorough knowledge of labour legislation
- Coaching and influencing skills. Conflict resolution and change management skills. Collaborative and client-centric mindset
