**Role Description**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Policy Management**:
Assist customers in understanding and reviewing their insurance policies, coverage options, and terms.
Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Provide accurate information to clients regarding policy details, terms, conditions, and premiums.
**Claims Handling**:
Assist clients with the claims process by explaining required documentation and procedures.
Track claim statuses, follow up with claims adjusters, and provide timely updates to clients.
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve issues related to claims by collaborating with other teams.
**Customer Service**:
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a calm and efficient manner.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and correspondence in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Prepare and generate reports on customer interactions, claims status, and policy updates.
**Sales Support**:
Assist the sales team with generating new business by providing quotes and following up on leads.
Support in identifying opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products based on client needs.
**Compliance and Regulatory Adherence**:
Ensure that all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and state-specific requirements.
**SKIILS & QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Educational Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred.
Insurance certifications or licenses (such as state insurance license) are a plus or must be obtained within a certain timeframe of hire.
**Experience**:
1-3 years of experience in the insurance industry or related customer service role.
Knowledge of various types of insurance products (auto, health, life, home, etc.) and industry regulations.
Experience with claims processing and policy management is highly desirable.
**Skills**:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with insurance software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
