**Key Responsibilities**:

- Financial Management & Reporting:

- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Monitor key financial metrics, including profit margins, cost of goods sold (COGS), and return on investment (ROI).

**Compliance & Taxation**:

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including sales tax for e-commerce transactions.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and financial regulatory requirements.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- E-Commerce & Inventory Accounting:

- Manage financial reporting for multiple e-commerce sales channels (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.).
- Oversee inventory accounting, including cost tracking, valuation methods, and stock reconciliation.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.

**Strategic Planning & Analysis**:

- Provide financial insights to leadership for data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and profitability to optimize pricing and cost structures.
- Evaluate new market opportunities, business models, and financial risks.

**Systems & Process Improvement**:

- Optimize financial systems, accounting software, and ERP integrations with e-commerce platforms.
- Automate processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Implement best practices for accounting and financial management in an e-commerce environment.

**Qualifications & Key skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 7+ years of financial management experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and e-commerce accounting practices.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication
- Experience in working with US customers
- Willingness to work in US shift hours

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
