About the Non Profit Advisory Team
Right from the inception, Sattva has worked with changemakers on the ground to help non-profit leaders execute their missions effectively and become future-ready. We are helping non-profits, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and other grassroot organizations adapt and become resilient through our comprehensive services and offerings in the areas of Organizational Effectiveness, Functional Capability Building and Program Enablement to enable NGOs to grow and become future ready.
The Opportunity
The role is critical and works within the business development team to position Sattva’s Nonprofit Advisory offerings in a compelling manner to nonprofit customers through structured, well-researched, high quality proposals, presentations and other bespoke collaterals. This role would also require streamlining and strengthening the internal sales function by building market intelligence,analyzing sales data to generate insights for business and codifying sales processes to make it more efficient. The role calls for an individual who has a flair for writing, research and analytical abilities. The key accountability for this role will be to contribute towards building the sales function for the Non ProfitAdvisory business unit.
**Summary of responsibilities include**:
Proposal Writing:
- Develop a keen understanding of Sattva’s NonProfit advisory offerings i.e. products and services with working knowledge of applicability to different customer archetypes
- Build well-researched, high quality, proposals and bespoke collateral in presentation and word formats, by use of appropriate secondary research, primary insights, visual frameworks and structured solutions
- Work with sales team to manage the sales bid process by responding to RFP’s
- Work with and communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations of proposal development process including content reviews, pricing calculation and decisions, and sales closure, all in a timely manner
Strengthening Sales function:
- Work with sales team to develop intelligence on market trends, competitor landscapes and analyze internal sales data to generate insights for decision making
- Actively participate in designing and executing lead generating activities
- Actively manage Sales CRM tool with updated leads status and information such as company name, lead POC, expected closure dates, probability of lead closure, the status of leads etc
- Create and update a database of sales knowledge assets relevant to proposal development for future use

- 1-2 years of professional experience in the developmental sector
