**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:
Legal Advisory:

- Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management and business units on a wide range of legal matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company\'s interests.

Litigation Management:

- Manage and oversee all litigation matters, including civil, criminal, and regulatory cases.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, and responses on behalf of the company.

Non-Litigation Matters:

- Handle a variety of non-litigation matters, including contract negotiations, intellectual property, employment issues, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide legal support in drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements, licenses, and permits.
- Assist in conducting legal due diligence for potential business ventures or acquisitions.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess legal risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company\'s interests.
- Advise management on potential legal and regulatory implications of business decisions.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the cinema industry and proactively recommend necessary actions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Engage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government authorities, legal counsels, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and human resources, to provide legal support and guidance.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university. Master\'s degree in Law (LL.M.) is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably within the entertainment, cinema, retail or hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Strong experience in handling litigation matters, and managing external legal counsel.
- Proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and reviewing legal documents.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
