**Position: AGM /DGM -Indirect Tax + Direct Tax**
**Experience: 10 to 15 years**

**Job description**
- Responsibility of handling both, Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation routine as well as dealing with Department notices
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Organization by preventing obstructions that can arise from tax issues faced by the Organization.
- Representing before relevant authorities for issued faced by the Organization.
- Dealing in matters related to
- How transactions should be structured, so as to minimize the overall tax impact on the organization.
- Strategies to be followed/ pursued for regulatory issues faced by the organization.
- Impact of amendments/ court decisions and suggest ways to minimize legalities and tax impact.
- Attending assessments, appeals, revisionary proceedings, investigations, summons pertaining to critical issues faced from Tax Department, liaisoning with Advocates and Tax Consultants and advising management on the best course of action to be followed.
- Working knowledge of all direct and indirect taxes (Income-tax, GST, Customs, Forex, CSR implications etc.)
- Keep abreast of new Legislative Developments and implement them into the system.
- The ability to develop a work system after analysing existing legislative/ operational issues.
- Comprehensive functional skills and a result driven approach, to mitigate future risks/ problems.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- Proactive and efficient team member
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP etc.
- Exposure for handling various tax assessment before competent authorities like Service Tax, VAT, Income Tax, TDS, GST
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Inter CA, CA, CMA

**Additional Details**

We are based at Khar / Bandra West ,Mumbai and our office is just 10 minutes away from both the stations.We work from Mondays to Saturdays.We have a flexi working hours schedule. Provision of lunch/snacks are in house.
