**Admission Counsellor - Job Overview**

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Center is looking for a dynamic and empathetic **Admission Counsellor** to join our admissions team. As the first point of contact for prospective students and their families, you will play a critical role in guiding applicants through the admissions process, providing accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, and career prospects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Student Counselling**: Interact with prospective students and their guardians to provide detailed information about academic programs, admission criteria, fee structure, and career pathways.
- **Campus Tours & Events**: Coordinate and conduct campus tours, webinars, open houses, and admission-related events to engage potential applicants.
- **Collaboration with Departments**: Liaise with academic and administrative departments to stay updated on course offerings, deadlines, and seat availability.
- **Follow-Up Communication**: Ensure timely and professional communication with prospective students to answer questions and support decision-making.
- **Target Achievement**: Work towards admission targets as set by the institution, helping to meet enrolment goals across academic programs.
- **Market Awareness**: Stay informed about competing institutions, market trends, and student expectations to better position our offerings.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or academic advising (preferably in the education sector).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency in regional languages is a plus).
- **People Skills**: Friendly, approachable, and patient with a genuine interest in helping students make informed decisions.
- **Sales & Persuasion**: Ability to effectively present academic programs and convert inquiries into successful admissions.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong time-management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to address concerns and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- **Confidentiality**: Maintain privacy and integrity in handling sensitive student information.
