**Job Purpose**:
To oversee the day-to-day operations on the shop floor, ensuring smooth material handling, quality control, safety compliance, and timely dispatch of metal products. The role involves coordinating with warehouse staff, logistics, and quality teams to meet operational targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Shopfloor Operations**:

- Supervise loading/unloading, cutting, sorting, packing, and dispatch of metal materials (sheets, rods, coils, etc.).
- Ensure accurate weight, size, and quality checks before dispatch.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock accuracy.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead a team of labourers and machine operators.
- Allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, and resolve on-ground issues.
- Conduct regular briefings and ensure discipline on the floor.
- **Coordination**:

- Liaise with the sales, logistics, and procurement teams for order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely dispatch.
- Support internal movement of materials between departments.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety norms.
- Conduct basic safety and equipment handling training.
- Report and document any incidents, accidents, or near misses.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and segregation of materials.
- Assist in inspections and maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the shop floor.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain records of inward/outward stock movement.
- Prepare shift reports and update supervisors/managers on daily progress.
- Ensure proper documentation for ISO/other audits if applicable.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Education**: ITI / Diploma / Graduate (Any stream, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial background).
- **Experience**: 3-5 years in a metal trading or manufacturing company, handling warehouse/shopfloor operations.
- **Skills**:

- Good understanding of metal grades, weights, and dimensions
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP/WMS systems)
- Leadership and team-handling capability
- Awareness of safety standards

**Working Conditions**:

- Physical work in a warehouse/shopfloor environment
- Shift-based work depending on production/delivery schedules
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work based on dispatch deadlines

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
