**Production Supervisor**: Experience - 1 to 2 year

Key tasks:
1. MIS: Prepare daily, weekly & periodic reports on production activities (Daily production

report, yield report, Daily costing, order lead time report, Goal tracker update)

2. ERP: Ensure production entries are updated in Batchmaster on a real-time and daily basis.

Any discrepancy because of downstream (Operations) are to be resolved on a real time

basis

3. Ensure physical stocks and books stocks always matches in the Production shop floors

4. To ensure daily attendance of contract manpower is maintained and shared for payroll at

the end of the month.

5. All byproducts of each job order have to be labelled and cost derived for all byproducts.

6. Rejections of each order have to be identified and valuation done for each job order.

7. Daily coordination meeting has to facilitated on a daily basis

8. To analyse the job order sheets and provide inputs to the Production head to optimise

yield and manpower cost.

9. To facilitate Implementation of 5 S across the Production shopfloor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management Information System (MIS):

- Prepare and update the Daily Production Report, detailing product-wise production quantities, manpower efficiencies, and operational hours.
- Generate Yield Reports highlighting input-output ratios for raw material to monitor process efficiency (Yield report)
- Prepare Daily Costing Reports, capturing labour and overhead costs(overtime/Repairs & maintenance) for each batch or job order.
- Create and maintain the Order Lead Time Report to track the time taken to complete each job order, identifying bottlenecks.
- Update and monitor the Goal Tracker for production metrics such as output, efficiency, and yield, ensuring alignment with monthly and annual targets.

2. ERP Data Management:

- Ensure real-time data entry for each production batch in the Batchmaster ERP system, capturing parameters like batch numbers, input materials, and output quantities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical production data and system entries caused by upstream issues in operations.
- Train and guide team members on ERP usage to maintain data accuracy.

3. Inventory Control:

- Conduct daily reconciliations of physical stock against book stock for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods in the shop floor.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability and accurate consumption recording.
- Escalate discrepancies in inventory immediately and implement corrective measures to avoid future mismatches.

4. Manpower Attendance & Payroll Coordination:

- Maintain a daily attendance register for all contract manpower employed on the production floor.
- Ensure accuracy in attendance records and compile reports to be shared with the HR/payroll team at month-end.
- Assist in manpower planning to optimize workforce allocation during peak production periods.

5. Byproduct Management:

- Accurately label all byproducts generated during production processes, including details such as type, weight, and batch.
- Derive and record the cost of byproducts by factoring in processing costs and market value.
- Ensure byproducts are stored appropriately and disposed of or utilized as per company policies.

6. Rejection Analysis & Valuation:

- Identify and categorize all rejected materials from each production batch, specifying reasons such as quality deviations or process errors.
- Calculate the valuation of rejected materials to assess the financial impact on the job order.
- Collaborate with the quality and production teams to minimize rejections and reduce associated costs.

7. Daily Coordination Meetings:

- Organize and facilitate a daily coordination meeting with the production, quality control, and operations teams to discuss the previous day’s performance and plan for the day.
- Document meeting outcomes, action points, and responsibilities, ensuring proper follow-up.
- Share updates with the Production Head for strategic decision-making.

8. Performance Analysis & Optimization:

- Review job order sheets to identify trends in yield, efficiency, and manpower utilization.
- Propose process improvements or equipment adjustments to enhance production output and reduce costs.
- Work with the Production Head to implement cost-saving measures and process optimizations.

9. 5S Implementation:

- Lead the implementation of 5S methodology across the production shop floor to enhance workplace organization.
- Conduct regular audits of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, sustain practices and train team members to ensure compliance.
- Report areas for improvement and follow up on corrective actions.

10. Backup Leadership:

- Serve as the acting Production Head in their absence, managing all production activities and making operational decisions as required.
