Hello

We are an NGO- Spherule Foundation and are starting a new opening NICU department and are looking for an Head Doctor (HOD). Qualification - MBBS and at least 2 yrs of experience

Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care: Provide high-quality medical care to critically ill newborns.

2. Medical Leadership: Guide and support NICU team members in patient care decisions.

3. Clinical Protocols: Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and guidelines.

Team Management:
1. Supervision: Supervise and mentor NICU doctors, nurses, and other staff.

2. Team Development: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

3. Training and Education: Provide training and education to NICU staff.

Quality Improvement:
1. Quality Indicators: Monitor and improve NICU quality indicators.

2. Evidence-Based Practices: Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

3. Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure quality care.

Administrative Responsibilities:
1. NICU Operations: Oversee NICU operations, including equipment, supplies, and staffing.

2. Policy Development: Develop and implement NICU policies and procedures.

3. Communication: Collaborate with hospital administration, departments, and stakeholders.

Research and Education:
1. Research: Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in neonatology.

2. Education: Provide education and training to NICU staff, residents, and students.

Other Responsibilities:
1. Emergency Response: Respond to NICU emergencies and critical situations.

2. Family Support: Provide support and counseling to families of NICU patients.

3. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve NICU services.
