**Job Description -**_**Duty RMO (Resident Medical Officer)**_

We are looking for a responsible **RMO** to handle hospital accounts, billing, and finance operations. The role includes patient billing, record-keeping, compliance, and supporting hospital management with financial planning.

**Salary**:₹25000 - ₹45,000 per month**
**Job Description - Duty RMO (BHMS Qualified)Position**
- **Qualification**_
- _BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery) from a recognized university_
- _Valid registration with the respective Medical Council_
- **Reporting To**_
- _Medical Superintendent / Duty Doctor In-charge_
- **Roles & Responsibilities**_
- _**Patient Care & Monitoring**_
- _Provide round-the-clock medical coverage in the hospital/ward._
- _Monitor admitted patients’ condition, vital signs, and treatment progress._
- _Attend to patients’ complaints and provide first-line management._
- _Assist consultants in daily rounds and follow their instructions._
- _**Emergency Handling**_
- _Attend all medical and surgical emergencies promptly._
- _Provide immediate life-saving measures (e.g., CPR, oxygen administration)._
- _Inform and escalate to senior doctors/consultants in case of critical conditions._
- _**Treatment & Procedures**_
- _Administer prescribed medicines, IV fluids, injections, and minor procedures as per consultant’s orders._
- _Maintain accurate and timely medical records (progress notes, treatment charts)._
- _Ensure proper documentation of all medical interventions._
- _**Coordination & Communication**_
- _Act as a link between patients, nurses, and consultants._
- _Ensure patient’s relatives are updated about condition as per hospital policy._
- _Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and support staff for patient care._
- _**Documentation & Reporting**_
- _Maintain case sheets, consent forms, and discharge summaries as directed._
- _Report medico-legal cases (MLC) to concerned authorities promptly._
- _Handover all patient details and ongoing treatments properly to the next duty RMO._
- _**Infection Control & Safety**_
- _Follow hospital infection control guidelines and safety protocols._
- _Ensure hygiene standards in wards and ICUs are maintained._
- _Report any adverse events or patient safety issues immediately._
- _**Other Duties**_
- _Support consultants during procedures and emergencies._
- _Ensure timely completion of investigations and follow-up reports._
- _Attend hospital meetings, trainings, and CME sessions as required._
- **Skills & Competencies**_
- _Good clinical knowledge and decision-making ability_
- _Emergency handling skills (BLS/ACLS preferred)_
- _Strong communication and coordination skills_
- _Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends_
- _Empathy and patient-centric approach_
