**Job Title**: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Academic & Research Domain

**Location**: Nungambakkam Chennai
**Employment Type**: Full-Time -Work from Office

**About the Role**:
We are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide guidance, mentorship, and consultation for PhD scholars and postgraduate students across various domains. The SME will work closely with students to assist with dissertation writing, research methodology, data analysis, coding, and publication support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guide students in research topic selection, problem identification, and research proposal development.
- Provide mentorship on dissertation/thesis writing, literature review, and manuscript preparation.
- Review and provide feedback on drafts, manuscripts, and academic publications.
- Ensure all work aligns with academic standards, UGC/HEC guidelines, and publication norms.
- Conduct one-on-one consultation sessions with scholars as required.
- Stay updated with the latest research, publications, tools, and methodologies in the assigned domain.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or PhD in the relevant domain (ECE,EEE, ECE, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of **research methodology, academic writing, and publication processes**.
- **Proficiency in research and data analysis software/tools** such as SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB, Excel, NVivo, or other domain-specific tools.
- **Coding skills** relevant to research (Python, R, MATLAB, Java, or other programming languages depending on domain).
- Prior experience in **mentoring, teaching, or academic consultation** is highly preferred.
- Excellent **communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills**.
- Ability to provide **structured guidance and constructive feedback** to students.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with **plagiarism detection tools, reference management software (EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley), and academic formatting standards**.
- Published research papers or experience in guiding publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience across multiple research domains is an added advantage
