**Position Summary**:
The PGT Chemistry teacher will play a key role in shaping the academic success of students through effective classroom teaching, regular assessments, and active involvement in school-wide science activities and events.

**Key Responsibilities:Academic Instruction**
- Teach Chemistry to senior secondary students (Grades 11-12), covering both theory and practical aspects in accordance with CBSE/ICSE/state board syllabi.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons using a mix of traditional and modern pedagogical techniques.
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, assignments, and lab work to evaluate student understanding.
- Prepare students for school-level, board-level, and competitive examinations (NEET, JEE, etc.).

**Laboratory & Practical Work**
- Plan and supervise Chemistry laboratory experiments with a focus on safety and scientific rigor.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, glassware, and lab equipment.
- Guide students in investigative projects, science fairs, or exhibitions.

**Curriculum Planning & Innovation**
- Develop and enhance lesson plans and schemes of work in alignment with board guidelines and school philosophy.
- Integrate technology into teaching (e.g., smart boards, simulations, educational apps).
- Encourage inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches.

**Student Engagement & Support**
- Identify student learning needs and provide academic support or enrichment as required.
- Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding progress and behavior.
- Act as a mentor or academic advisor to students as assigned.

**Collaboration & Professionalism**
- Participate in staff meetings, departmental discussions, and training sessions.
- Work collaboratively with other science faculty members for interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain proper documentation of student records, attendance, and academic performance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jamui, Bihar: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
