**We are hiring for an Indian multinational information technology (IT) services and consulting company.**
**Required Technical Skill Set***
- Extensive exp in Retail Point Of Sale, Back Office Sale and
- Integrations,Business Domain (NFR, Fleet, Loyalty, Fuel Pricing etc).
**Must-Have***
**(Ideally should not be**
**more than 3-5)**
**Technical:
**1. Expertise in specific BA techniques, tools or business areas.
2. Proficient in the majority of the Retail Business Domains viz
Site Systems (POS, BOS, HOS), Business Domain (NFR, Fleet,
Loyalty, Fuel Pricing etc). Have an insight of UK Retail Site
System specific landscape, platforms/ products.
3. Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
4. Agile/ Waterfall/ Hybrid Methodologies of Software
Development and Delivery.
5. Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem
solving and pay close attention to detail. Has a comprehensive
knowledge of the technical specialism of IT Business Analysis.
6. Able to act as a focal point for a specialized area (technical or
business); able to lead teams while managing multiple competing
priorities. Has a comprehensive understanding of business
process improvement, benefit and risk management.
7. Able to link technical solutions with business strategy when
working with business partners. Has knowledge of how
competitors are using IT solutions to gain competitive edge,
applies that knowledge to projects. Leading stakeholder
management activities. Creates opportunities to make the
stakeholder feel valued and develop trust.
8. Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution
value and establish approval, funding and prioritization
9. Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to
understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and
database design, and ensure that business requirements and use
cases are handled
10. Knowledge of the technology landscape including current and
future developments and the most commonly available products
and integrated solutions
11. Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and
technologies related to a business area. Research potential
solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions
**Behavioural:
**12. Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem
solving and pay close attention to detail.
13. Experience analyzing the alignment between business
requirements and system capabilities.
14. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
**Good-to-Have**
1. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA
certification preferred.
**Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
**1 Respond to organizational and environmental changes during in-progress activities.
2 Guide business stakeholders to gain acceptance / sign-off despite competing objectives.
Manage requirements to the smallest set that will provide the biggest impact in advancing
business objectives and end-user buy-in
3 Describe technology in terms easily understood by business customers and set realistic
customer expectations for the project outcome. Adjust customer expectations in accordance
with changes in scope.
4 Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities.
5 Work closely with stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations,
constraints, risks, and operating environment.
