**Key Responsibilities**
- **Teaching and Curriculum Development**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus as applicable).
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods to build students' reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
- Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- **Student Engagement**:

- Foster a classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for literature and language.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Provide individualized attention and support to cater to diverse learning needs.
- **Lesson Planning and Documentation**:

- Prepare detailed lesson plans, maintain academic records, and ensure timely reporting of student progress.
- Integrate technology and multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience.
- **Co-Curricular Contributions**:

- Organize and oversee activities like debates, elocutions, creative writing contests, and drama events.
- Encourage students to participate in literary clubs and external competitions.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**:

- Work closely with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to maintain academic standards.
- Attend workshops, training programs, and meetings to stay updated with modern teaching practices.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or a related field. A B.Ed. degree is preferred.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of teaching English at the middle or high school level, preferably in CBSE/ICSE/State Board schools.
- **Skills**:

- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital platforms.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
- **Certifications**: Relevant teaching certifications will be an added advantage.
