Position: High School English Teacher (Grades 7-10)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons for **Grades 7-10 (CBSE).
- Teach literature (prose, poetry, drama), grammar, composition, and creative writing.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies (flipped classrooms, project-based learning, etc.).
- Integrate technology (smartboards, LMS, digital tools) to enhance learning.

**2. Student Assessment & Support**:

- Design formative and summative assessments (tests, projects, presentations).
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents through regular progress reports.
- Offer remedial support and enrichment programs for diverse learners.

**3. Classroom & Behavioral Management**:

- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage student participation in debates, elocution, and literary events.

**4. Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events.
- Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Attend workshops and training sessions to stay updated on educational trends.

**5. School Community Engageme nt**:

- Mentor students for competitions (e.g., Olympiads, Model UN).
- Support school clubs (literary magazine, drama club, public speaking).

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Education: Master’s degree in English Literature/Language (or Bachelor’s with B.Ed.).
- Experience: 3+ years teaching Grades 7-10 (CBSE preferred).

**Skills**:

- Strong command of English (verbal/written).
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
- Certifications: Teaching license (e.g., B.Ed./TET) preferred.

**Expected Competencies**:

- Passion for literature and language education.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Collaborative mindset with teachers, parents, and staff.

**Work Schedule & Benefits**:

- Timings: 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM (Monday-Wednesday-Friday),

Timings: 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM (Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday) with Second Saturday off.
