**Role Overview**

We’re looking for a **Senior BGV Expert** to lead and scale our background verification operations across India. You’ll work directly with the founding team to manage vendor networks, standardize SOPs, ensure quality, and build a robust BGV engine that runs at scale with 24-hour turnaround.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Own and lead end-to-end background verification operations
- Build and manage relationships with verification vendors, universities, government offices, police departments, etc.
- Develop and enforce SOPs for ID, education, criminal, employment, and police verification
- Design the backend workflow for quick and accurate report generation
- Ensure 24-48 hour TAT across all cases and types
- Handle escalations and ensure error-free verification processes
- Research and implement new verification technologies & databases (DigiLocker, NAD, NSDL, etc.)
- Collaborate with the tech team to automate BGV workflows through APIs & dashboards
- Train junior BGV analysts and scale the team over time

**Requirements**:

- 3-6 years of experience in the **background verification industry**:

- Deep knowledge of **offline and online verification methods** across ID, education, criminal, and employment
- Experience working with **third-party agencies, universities, police, and legal authorities**:

- Strong operational and process management skills
- Ability to scale systems with speed, accuracy, and low cost
- Familiarity with compliance, data privacy, and industry-standard BGV protocols
- Prior startup experience is a strong plus
- Must be fluent in English & Hindi (regional languages are a bonus)

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
