Role : Electrical Verification Engineer Location : Mysore / Bangalore Experience Required : 2–5 Years Role Overview We are seeking an experiencedElectrical Verification Engineerto join ourAutotransfusion System development team . The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and hands-on experience inmedical device verification and validation , particularly inpower subsystem testingandsafety compliance . This role involves comprehensive verification of electrical subsystems, includingpower management ,fault current measurement , andinterface integrity testing . Key Responsibilities : Performsystem-level and subsystem-level verificationof Autotransfusion systems in accordance with design inputs and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 14971). Conductelectrical testingof power subsystems including load, voltage, and current characterization. Measure and analyzefault currents ,leakage currents , and ensure compliance withelectrical safety requirements . Develop and executeverification protocols , including test procedures, test cases, and data collection sheets for electrical and mixed-signal components. Verifygrounding ,insulation resistance , andpower failover behaviorunder simulated fault conditions. Use electrical test instruments such as: Oscilloscopes Power analyzers Multimeters Data loggers Electronic loads Collaborate withsystems engineers ,design engineers , andquality assuranceto ensure requirements traceability and test coverage. Document and reviewtest reports ,defects , andverification summariesin accordance with design control procedures. Supportdesign reviews ,risk assessments , andregulatory submissionsby providing objective test evidence. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical Engineering ,Biomedical Engineering(with electrical focus), or a related field. 2–5 years of experience inelectrical verification and validationformedicalorsafety-critical systems . Hands-on experience withelectrical test equipmentanddata acquisition tools . Knowledge ofIEC 60601-1 ,IEC 60601-1-2 (EMC) , andISO 14971standards. Experience withpower system analysis ,fault isolation , andcurrent measurement techniques . Familiarity withrequirements management tools(e.g., Polarion, DOORS) and verification documentation practices. Preferred Skills : Experience inautotransfusion ,hemodynamic monitoring , or otherblood management devices . Understanding ofsoftware-hardware interface verification . Exposure toMATLAB ,LabVIEW , orPythonfor test automation or data analysis. Stronganalyticalandtroubleshooting skillswith a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
