- Coordinate with CHAs for import (sea & air) consignment clearance across India (Chennai, Nava Sheva, Mumbai, and Hyderabad).
- Float the overseas freight inquiries for import consignments, prepare a comparison statement, and finalize the L1 vendor, and get approval from their superiors and arrange pick up till delivery to respective plants as per timelines. Example: Ex-work, FOB, etc.
- Maintain trackers and update the cross-functional team about the consignment status daily.
- Coordinate with domestic transporters and arrange quotes, prepare comparison statements, and finalize the L1 vendor and get approval from their superiors and arrange pick up till delivery to respective plants as per timelines, which are not covered in the contract rate sheet.
- Should have knowledge of entire imports like sea or air consignment clearances, import license requirements, statutory requirements, and compliance rules, etc.
- Prepare MIS reports, etc., and send them monthly.
- Prepare Quotation Comparative Statement sheets for overseas freight and domestic freight and take them forward towards the signing of the contract within the timelines.
- All import-related service provider bills are checked, and a proper tracker is maintained to ensure all the rates are in line with the contract rate sheet before submitting to Finance for the payment process.

Should have capabilities to handle independently the above works and ensure timely shipment deliveries, streamline the process, and act in the situations dynamically.
