**Job Purpose**

1. This position is accountable for meeting all product targets including prepaid, postpaid, handsets & data product sales & revenue targets as well as distribution management & enhancement of MT & SPO business for the circle

2. Formulate and implement the circle MT & SPO strategy, in consultation with the Sales Head

3. Attain market leadership through growth in terms of gross numbers, revenues, market share and profit, while complying with agreed budget, quality of additions and corporate policy guidelines

4. Responsible for all MT& SPO operations including cost control, service levels, stock availability etc in the Circle

5. Achieve Gross and Net Acquisition target in the circle for the MT & SPO channel

6. Initiate MT & SPO expansion by setting up strategic alliances and identifying partnership models

7. Ensuring desired productivity on UL GBD, YGHS & base recharge

8. Ensuring all sell-in elements like daily attendance, training etc. are adhered as per the process & guidelines

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**

BUSINESS
- 1. Achievement of key targets for the MT & SPO channel (Revenue, gross & net adds etc.)

2. Achieve ROI, execution of marcom activities for channel partners for any additional investments (as defined in partnership model)

3. Ensuring smooth operations across all MT & SPO outlets in the circle

4. Continuously working on optimizing cost & enhancing productivity

CUSTOMER

1. Ensure customer satisfaction

PEOPLE

1. Resolving MT & SPO partners’ specific issues within specific timelines

2. Ensure employee satisfaction thereby reducing attrition

3. Relationship management with key SPO channel partners

1. Ability to lead a large number of partners of varying sizes and complexity

2. Ability to manage in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments

3. Influencing skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix-organisation

4. Independent thought leadership and drive to execute - should be a recognised industry leader in his/ her specific area of competence

5. Strong analytical & conceptual skills in retail business planning.

6. Orientation to implementation of distribution strategy - Must have the ability to manage the highest levels of interaction with top levels of management, both internally and externally.

University Degree in Business/MBA caliber or equivalent qualification
