**Summary**:As an integral part of our procurement team, the Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process within the Food and Beverage industry. This role involves sourcing, negotiation, and the purchase of high-quality products and services, with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing and Vendor Management**:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for a variety of food and beverage products and services.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistency in quality, pricing, and on-time deliveries.
**Negotiation and Cost Management**:
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, aiming for cost-effective deals while maintaining our quality standards.
- Keep a watchful eye on market trends and conduct price analysis to optimize our procurement costs.
**Quality Control**:
- Guarantee that all procured products adhere to required quality and safety standards.
- Implement quality control measures and collaborate with suppliers to address any issues related to quality.
**Inventory Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent situations of stockouts or overstock.
- Collaborate closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock efficiently.
**Purchase Order Processing**:
- Generate and manage purchase orders with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain organized records of all purchase orders and associated documentation.
**Compliance and Documentation**:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including food safety and health standards.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all procurement activities.
**Cost Analysis and Budgeting**:
- Perform regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost-saving.
- Provide assistance in the preparation and management of the procurement budget.
**Communication and Collaboration**:
- Collaborate effectively with various departments, including the kitchen, operations, and finance, to gain insights into their procurement needs.
- Foster clear and effective communication with internal teams and suppliers to ensure a seamless procurement process.
**Qualifications**:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A proven track record of experience in procurement and vendor management within the Food and Beverage industry.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
